End of Term 2022
The Leavers Celebration at the end of term was a special occasion for the children going on to school this coming September. There were plenty of smiles (and a few tears) from both parents and staff as the children collected certificates and mementos of their happy time at Little Fingers. We all wish them well in the next stage of their education.
Sports Day 2022
he weather was glorious – but hot - for Sports Day this year. Parents gathered on the Burydene to watch their children take part, and to enjoy coffee and croissant laid on by the Little Fingers Committee, who also helped give out stickers at the end of the races.
Thank you to everyone who helped and to the children who were the superstars of the day.
Easter Egg Hunt 2022
Luckily, the weather was perfect on Easter Monday afternoon – bright and dry but not too hot – for the return of the popular Little Fingers Easter Egg Hunt. An excited crowd of local children, urged on by their families, friends, and visitors, gathered on the Burydene, keen to find all the eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny on the fields and up the path to the woods behind.
It was all great fun but, at the same time, more than £700 was raised for Little Fingers, which we are really grateful for.
